Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Signalfi ("we", "us") collects when you use signalfi.co, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The short version: we collect your email address so we can give you access and send alerts. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising trackers.

What we collect

InformationWhy
Email addressTo identify your subscription, unlock Pro access, send signal alerts, and contact you about your account.
Subscription status and datesTo know whether your access is active and when it renews.
Stripe customer and subscription identifiersTo link your access to your payment and let you manage or cancel it.
Telegram chat ID (only if you connect Telegram)To send you alerts on Telegram.
Local browser storageYour email and access status are stored in your own browser so the site remembers you. This is not a tracking cookie and is not shared with anyone.

We do not collect your name, address, date of birth, or any financial account information, and we do not receive your card number, CVC or expiry date at any point.

Payment information

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. Card details are entered on Stripe's own hosted checkout page and are never transmitted to or stored on our systems. We receive only the fact that a payment succeeded or failed, your email address, and Stripe's reference identifiers.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information or disclose it for advertising. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help operate Signalfi:

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States, Singapore and the European Union. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Market data displayed on the site is retrieved from CoinGecko. We request that data using our own credentials — your personal information is never sent to CoinGecko.

How long we keep it

We keep your subscriber record while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months afterwards so you can restore access if you return. Payment and transaction records are retained by Stripe and by us for seven years where required by Australian tax and record-keeping law. You can ask us to delete your record sooner (see below).

Security

Subscriber data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access credentials for our systems are held as encrypted secrets. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your rights and choices

If you are in the UK or EU, you may also have rights to data portability and to object to or restrict processing. We will honour those requests where they apply.

Cookies and analytics

Signalfi does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your email and access status. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Children

Signalfi is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and we will notify subscribers by email of any material change before it takes effect.
